Who are we?

LogoLink - "Learning Initiative on Citizen Participation and Local Governance" was launched in 2000, by the Ford Foundation Local Governance Learning Group (LOGO) www.fordfound.org and the Institute of Development Studies www.ids.ac.uk (IDS), at the University of Sussex, Great Britain. Its main purpose is to promote dialogue, exchange and learning about participatory local governance initiatives, while situating reflection and learning on these within the broader political contexts at the national and global levels.

IDS, the programme coordinator, has established key partnerships around the world. The Instituto Polis is LogoLink´s partner for Latin America.
